Sono stata invitata a partecipare all'ottava edizione della Biennale Internazionale di Incisione di Douro, in Portogallo, un grande evento che porta in scena 604 artisti da 70 paesi dei cinque continenti, 1300 stampe e 17 mostre nella regione di Douro. Una biennale diffusa sul territorio con mostre che si tengono contemporaneamente ad Alijó, Bragança, Celeirós, Chaves, Favaios, Foz-Côa, Régua, Sabrosa, São Martinho de Anta e Vila Real.
La regione di Douro in Portogallo è la più antica regione vinicola demarcata al mondo (dichiarata dall'UNESCO patrimonio dell'umanità) ed è conosciuta sia per il paesaggio plasmato dalle vigne che per l'arte rupestre paleolitica del Parco Archeologico di Foz Côa. Ed è in questa suggestiva location che si tiene questo importante appuntamento dell'incisione contemporanea.
La mia opera in mostra è il dittico di monoprint 'Luoghi-Räume'.

Ich wurde eingeladen an der 8. Internationalen Biennale in Douro teilzunehmen. Es ist ein großes Event mit 604 KünstlerInnen aus 70 Ländern von allen Kontinenten, 1300 Druckwerke und 17 Ausstellungen in der Region von Douro. Die Ausstellungen finden in Alijó, Bragança, Celeirós, Chaves, Favaios, Foz-Côa, Régua, Sabrosa, São Martinho de Anta und Vila Real statt.
Die Douro-Region in Portugal ist die älteste abgegrenzte Weingut-Region der Welt (UNESCO Weltkulturerbe) und ist bekannt für die Landschaft und für den Altsteinzeit-Archäologischen Park im Côa Tal. Und jetzt ist es die Location für zeitgenössische Druck-Kunst.
Ich stelle mein zweiteiliges Monoprint 'Luoghi-Räume' aus.

I was invited to exhibit at the 8th International Biennial of Douro, a great event involving 604 artists from 70 countries of all continents, 1300 prints and 17 exhibitions in the Douro Region. The exhibitions take place in Alijó, Bragança, Celeirós, Chaves, Favaios, Foz-Côa, Régua, Sabrosa, São Martinho de Anta and Vila Real. The region of Douro in Portugal is the oldest demarcated wine region in the world (UNESCO's heritage of humanity) and is renowed both for its vineyard landscape and for the heritage of the Côa Valley: the largest sanctuary of Paleolithic engraving in the world. And now it's the location for the contemporary engraving scene. I show there my dyptic-monoprints 'Luoghi-Räume'.
