Der so poetisch klingende Begriff Orizzonte degli eventi - auf Deutsch Ereignishorizont - bezeichnet in der allgemeinen Relativitätstheorie die Grenzfäche eines schwarzen Loches. Davon inspiriert zeigt Laura Manfredi eine Serie von Kunstwerken, die die Berührungsfläche zwischen Innen und Außen, zwischen Wahrnehmen, Denken und Fühlen ausloten.

Trees Remeber Too highlights the deep relationship that man has with nature, and how it becomes a privileged channel for the expression of memory.

Laura Manfredi, through some ready-made installations of the Fragile series, composed of a multiplicity of objects that contain in itself a sense of fragility and fragmentation, tries to reflect on the theme of repetition and memory and the deep link between them. The systematic reproduction of similar, but not equal, elements, always with a different detail, in her installations, refers to everyday life to that typically human mnemonic process that leads to the selection of some memories compared to others. Manfredi tries to investigate this process of selection and association, apparently arbitrary, which is a link with the colletive past but individual too. (Text by B#S Gallery)

Trees Remeber Too pone in evidenza il profondo rapporto di connessione che l’uomo ha con la natura e come quest’ultima diventi canale privilegiato per l’espressione di concetti quali memoria e ricordo.

"Laura Manfredi, presenta alcune installazioni ready made del ciclo “fragile” composte da una molteplicità di oggetti che racchiudono in loro un senso di fragilità e frammentarietà cerca di riflettere sul tema della ripetizione e della memoria e l’intrinseco legame tra le due. La riproduzione sistematica di elementi simili, ma non uguali, sempre con un particolare diverso, nelle sue installazioni, rimanda alla quotidianità a quel processo mnemonico tipicamente umano che porta alla selezione di alcuni ricordi rispetto ad altri. Manfredi cerca di indagare questo processo di selezione e associazione, apparentemente arbitrario, che costituisce un legame con il passato sia collettivo, ma soprattutto individuale."(Testo a cura di B#S Gallery)

Seven rooms, seven moods, seven different impressions dominate the art project ‚Kunst im Wein-Keller‘, art in the wine cellar. More than 20 artists exhibit in the wine cellar rooms and open air, in a well known region of wine production in Austria. This project is an idea of the artist Helmut Hable and opens during the week-end of the open wine cellars. The visitors could discover the region and its wines and visit this art exhibition.

Sette stanze, sette moods, sette diverse impressioni caratterizzano il progetto artistico ‚Kunst im Wein-Keller‘, Arte in cantina, in una zona di grande produzione vinicola della Stiria, in Austria. Una ventina di artisti espongono nelle stanze di un’antica cantina vinicola e all’aperto, nei terreni circostanti l’azienda. Il progetto, ideato e curato dall’artista Helmut Hable, inaugura in occasione del fine settimana delle cantine aperte, permettendo così al pubblico che va alla scoperta della regione per degustare i vini locali di visitare anche questa mostra d’arte.

‚Carte‘ é una mostra di piccole opere su carta. Il titolo, tuttavia, non si riferisce solo al materiale su cui sono realizzate le opere bensì anche all’uso di questa parola come sinonimo di ‚mappa‘. Dettagli di oggetti si riducono a linee e forme, che, dialogando tra loro, rimandano a mappe essenziali ed immaginarie. Con un sottile rimando alla cittá che ospita la mostra, Venezia.

‚Carte‘ (Papers) is an exhibition of small format artworks on paper. However, the title doesn’t refer only to the paper as support of these artworks. In italian the word ‚carta‘ means map too. Deatils of objects are reduced into lines and shapes, that, with their dialogue, recall basic and imaginary maps. A subtle and understated homage to the hosting city of the exhibition, Venice.

In mostra opere contemporanee e storiche di artiste donne che hanno un legame con la regione attraversata dal fiume Inn. Sono una ventina le artiste invitate ad esporre nei suggestivi spazi di Burg Obernberg. Un luogo ricco di storia situato lungo il percorso del fiume Inn, al confine con la Baviera.
Espongo il mio polittico dal titolo ‚Luoghi‘.

On show contemporary and historical artworks of women artists, that have a connection to the region of the river Inn. About 20 artists are invited to exhibit in the pictoresque Burg Obernberg. A place rich of history, located along the Inn river, at the border line with Bavaria.

L'associazione Graver Maintenant in collaborazione con la città di Dreux in Francia presenta la seconda edizione della Biennale Internazionale di Grafica di Piccolo Formato Mini Print Dreux. In mostra nella location storica della Chapelle de l'Hôtel-Dieu, 270 stampe d'arte provenienti da tutto il mondo dedicate al tema delle radici. Espongo alcune mie piccole grafiche d'arte della serie ‚Nowhere Diary‘.

The association Graver Maintenant together with the city of Dreux in France has organized the first edition of the International Printmaking Biennial Mini Print Dreux. On show in the picturesque Chapelle de l'Hôtel-Dieu there are 350 prints from 33 countries all around the world, dedicated to the theme of ‚root(s)‘. I show there some of my small prints from the series ‚Nowhere Diary‘.

The Mini Print International of Cadaqués is the most popular and longest running exhibition of mini prints in the world. In the 37th edition are on show more than 650 artists from 55 countries (list of the selected artists).

In 2017 are running four exhibitions with the selected graphics. One of them is in the art gallery l'Etangd'art in Barge till the 21st of January 2018. 

I show at the 37th Mini Print International two prints of the series 'American Diary' and one of the series 'Lake'.

La Mini Print International di Cadaqués è la mostra più famosa e più longeva del mondo dedicata alla grafica di piccolo formato. In questa 37esima edizione sono in mostra oltre 650 artisti da 55 paesi (qui la lista completa degli artisti selezionati).


Nel 2017 sono in programma quattro mostre con le opere selezionate; una si tiene nella galleria d'arte l'Etangd'art in Barge fino al 21 gennaio 2018. In questa edizione di Mini Print International espongo due stampe della serie 'American Diary' e una della serie 'Lake'.

A charity exhibition organized by Lions Club Tyrol in order to buy a high technological wheelchair for a young lady. 81 artists are showing paintings, sculptures and works on paper to support this charity service.

I show there two prints of the series 'Familie' and 'Luoghi'.

Una mostra di beneficenza organizzata dal Lions Club Tyrol per comprare una sedia a rotelle tecnologicamente avanzata per una giovane donna. 81 artisti espongono dipinti, sculture e opere su carta per sostenere questo progetto di beneficenza.

Io espongo due stampe delle serie 'Familie' e 'Luoghi'.
