‘Impressioni’ è una serie di opere, create ad hoc per la Fondazione Banca Popolare di Lodi, ispirate dai luoghi che ci sono familiari e che sono, a vario titolo, registrati nella nostra memoria. La ripetizione dell’immagine di base interloquisce con i successivi interventi a collage, creando una stratificazione di tracce che ogni volta produce un’impressione diversa. Ogni opera ha quindi una sua precisa identità ma allo stesso tempo è ‘solo’ una variazione sul tema. I lavori sono inoltre stampe su carta (per la precisione si tratta di linoleumgrafie e monoprints calcografici) e quindi, a tutti gli effetti, vere e proprie ‘impressioni’.

'Impressioni' (impressions) is a series of artworks, created for the Fondazione Banca Popolare di Lodi and inspired by places that are 'familiar' and saved in our memory. Every artwork has the same underlying picture but different visual elements glued on it with the technique of collage: the stratification of these different traces/impressions creates, every time, something different. Every artwork has its own identity but it's 'only' a 'variazione sul tema'. Furthermore the artworks are prints on paper (linocuts and monoprints) and for this reason - in effect - real 'impressions'.

'Impressioni' (Eindrücke) ist eine Serie von Kunstwerken, geschaffen für die Fondazione Banca Popolare di Lodi. Familiäre Räume, die in unserem Gedächtnis wohnen, haben mich dazu inspiriert. Das Grundbild ist wiederholt und darauf kommen immer neue Elemente: so entsteht eine Schichtung von Spuren und jedes Mal ein neuer Eindruck. Jedes Kunstwerk hat so eine eigene Identität und ist gleichzeitig 'nur' eine Themenvariation. Die Kunstwerke sind Drucke mit den Techniken Linolschnitt und Monoprint.

I take part to the printmaking group exhibition '1st Annual Miniature Print Exhibition and Competition' with 89 artists representing 28 different countries. The exhibition is curated by the team of the Manhattan Graphics Center and the juror Sarah Suzuki, Associate Curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at the Museum of Modern Art MoMA of New York.

Linocut is a quite new technique, appreciated by artists like Picasso and Matisse. Due to its semplicity and spontaneity, the technique allows a wide freedom of expression. During the 4-days Workshop we will print linocuts with one and with many colours. It'll be possible to make a small edition of the print, too.

La linoleumgrafia è una tecnica abbastanza nuova, che è stata molto apprezzata da artisti come Picasso e Matisse.
La tecnica è relativamente facile e molto versatile e per questo motive offre una grande libertà espressiva. Durante il corso di quattro giorni si stamperà a uno e a più colori e ci sarà la possibilità di fare una piccola tiratura.

Linolschnitt ist eine ziemlich neue Technik, die sehr geschätzt von Künstlern wie Picasso und Matisse war. Die Technik ist relativ einfach, sehr vielfältig und deshalb kann man mit ihr sich frei ausdrücken. Während den 4 Tagen von Kurs, werden wir Werke mit einer Platte und mit mehrere Platten vorbereiten und in schwarz-weiss sowie mit mehrere Farben arbeiten. Es wird auch möglich von jeder Werk eine kleine Auflage drucken.

'Räume/Luoghi’ is an exhibition about different places and non-lieux , that have inspired and touched the artist, somehow. The subjets of the exhibition – landscapes, architectural perspective, interiors where styles and influences are overlapped – are connected through a fil rouge, creating an imaginery Place.

‘Räume/Luoghi’ ist nicht eine Ausstellung über eine bestimmte Stadt oder Ort, sondern über verschiedene Orte und 'Nicht-Orte', die irgendwie die Künstlerin inspiriert und berührt haben. Das Thema der Ausstellung ist ein imaginärer Ort: Landschaften, architektonische Teilansichten, Pflanze, vegetarische Architekturen und Interiors, in denen sich Stile und Einflüsse überlappen, sind durch einen roten Faden verbunden.

'Räume/Luoghi’ non è una mostra su una città, ma su diversi luoghi e non-luoghi che, in qualche modo, hanno ispirato e coinvolto l' artista. I soggetti della mostra - paesaggi, scorci architettonici, interni, con il sovrapporsi di stili e influenze - sono quindi legati tra loro da un fil rouge, a creare un immaginario Luogo.

Monoprint is a technique of chalcografic engraving with a 'fresh' pictorial effect. Trough a press, the monoprint is printed on paper. The result is a unique piece because the plate can be printed only once (as the name 'monoprint' suggests). This technique offers a wide range of effects and the possibility to mix it with other 'traditional' etching techniques (like for example the dry point) and, for this reason, the artist can reach a great expressive freedom, both in black and white or with colour.

Il Monoprint è una tecnica dell'incisione calcografica caratterizzata da un interessante effetto pittorico. Con l'ausilio di un torchio da stampa calcografica, si stampa su carta un esemplare che è unico (e per questo nel nome della tecnica c'è il prefisso 'mono'). La libertà della tecnica, l'ampia gamma di effetti che si possono ottenere e la possibilità di mischiare il monoprint con altre tecniche tradizionali dell'incisione (come ad esempio la punta secca) donano all'artista la possibilità di raggiungere una grande libertà espressiva, sia in bianco e nero che a colori.

Monoprint ist eine Technik der Radierung mit einem interessanten malerischen Effekt. Mit der Hilfe einer Radierungspresse, drückt man auf Papier ein Kunststück, das ein einzel Exemplar ist (deshalb heisst es ‘mono’). Die Freiheit der Technik, die Skala der Effekte und die Möglichkeit das Monoprint mit anderen Technicken (wie z.b. Kaltnadel) zu mischen, geben dem Künstler eine grosse Freiheit im Ausdruck, entweder in Schwarz/Weiss oder in Farbe.

Partecipo su invito all'esposizione internazionale d'incisione Global Print 2015, che ha luogo in Portogallo.
La manifestazione, giunta alla sua seconda edizione, è stata organizzata e curata da Nuno Canelas del Núcleo de Gravura do Groupo recreativo e Cultural de Alijó.
In mostra 440 opere di altrettanti artisti, provenienti da 64 paesi. Una vera e propria mostra diffusa sul territorio che conta sette sedi espositive dislocate nella regione, ed esattamente ad Alijó, Bragança, Favaios, Fozcōa e Sabrosa.

Ich bin eingeladen an der internationalen Radierungs-Auststellung Global Print 2015, die in Portugal statt findet, teilzunehmen.
Die Ausstellung ist die zweite Veranstaltung und ist von Kurator Nuno Canelas des Vereins Núcleo de Gravura do Groupo recreativo e Cultural de Alijó organisiert worden.
Global Print 2015 bietet 440 Kunstwerke von 440 Künstlern aus 64 Ländern an und stellt in sieben verschiedene Locations in der Region, in Alijó, Bragança, Favaios, Fozcōa und Sabrosa aus.

I've been invitated to exhibit at the International print exhibition Global Print 2015, in Portugal.
The exhibition, at the second edition, was organisied and curated by Nuno Canelas of the assosiacion Núcleo de Gravura do Groupo recreativo e Cultural de Alijó.
On show 440 prints of 440 artists from 64 countries. An exhibition involving a great area, because it's taking place in seven different locations of the same region, in Alijó, Bragança, Favaios, Fozcōa and Sabrosa.
